Cloud Platform Technical Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Platform Technical Lead to own the reliability and orchestration of an enterprise data platform in a regulated healthcare environment.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end reliability of the managed data platform across AWS, Amazon EKS, Kubernetes, Argo Workflows, Snowflake, S3, and custom ingestion pipelines.
• Lead technical transition to managed services, including platform discovery, risk identification, knowledge transfer and readiness validation.
• Define and evolve cloud architecture principles, IaC standards, CI/CD practices, observability patterns and operational controls.
• Direct incident response, root‑cause analysis and post‑incident reviews for cross‑platform outages.
• Mentor senior and mid‑level engineers, delegate ownership and improve engineering processes across distributed teams.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or SRE.
• Proven ability to lead major incidents and coordinate cross‑functional troubleshooting.
• Experience operating production platforms with defined service levels, change controls and on‑call rotations.
• Strong stakeholder‑management and communication skills in English.
• Availability to work within the LatAm service window (≈9 AM‑6 PM ET) and participate in on‑call rotation.

• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code).
• Observability, logging, monitoring and alerting tools.
• Snowflake, S3 data lakes, SQL, dbt, Fivetran or HVR.
• Python, Shell/Bash for automation.
• CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
