Comprador Senior de Categoría – Materiales de Construcción

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Category Buyer to lead the procurement strategy for high‑volume construction material categories. This strategic position designs and executes commercial plans, drives complex negotiations, and ensures profitability, innovation and sustainable growth for the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead high‑impact commercial negotiations with key national and international suppliers.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary teams to align execution with the commercial strategy.
• Maintain a strong sense of urgency to meet commercial targets efficiently.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, inventory levels and key performance indicators.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field; preferably a Master’s in Commercial or Business studies.
• Proven experience in high‑volume purchasing, category management and business development, ideally within construction materials.
• Executive presence, professional maturity and the ability to manage complex, high‑impact supplier negotiations.

Required skills

• Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
• Advanced financial analysis, budgeting and KPI management.
• Expertise in inventory control.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel.
• Advanced English language skills.
• Basic knowledge of import processes (preferred).
