About the role

The Social Relationship and Shared Value Coordinator will lead the social management of CONECTA’s project portfolio. The role focuses on building genuine, timely, and continuous engagement with all stakeholders throughout each project phase, from field surveys to construction, operation, and decommissioning.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, characterize, and keep updated the stakeholder map for direct and indirect areas of influence, including local governments, public institutions, community authorities, landowners, NGOs, and opposition groups.
• Design, implement, and evaluate a tailored relationship plan for each project stage, ensuring timely information dissemination, informed participation, documented interactions, and an effective grievance mechanism.
• Document and report social conflict events, detailing background, actors, root causes, mitigation actions, and impact on schedules to support decision‑making and contractual assessments.
• Prioritize social interventions in high‑risk communities based on historical conflict, land tenure complexity, presence of opposition groups, and indigenous peoples, and execute reinforced engagement actions accordingly.
• Coordinate the overall stakeholder relationship process in line with national regulations and IFC performance standards, especially those related to risk assessment, indigenous peoples, land acquisition, and land‑use restrictions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in social impact management, ESG, or community engagement within infrastructure or development projects.
• Strong knowledge of national environmental and social regulations and IFC ESG standards.
• Ability to work across project lifecycles and adapt communication strategies to diverse cultural contexts.
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills to support internal and external ESG reporting.
