About the role

The Digital Content Creator & Sales role at Librería Rayuela focuses on producing engaging online material that strengthens the bookstore’s digital presence, interacts with the community, and drives sales. You will combine creativity, product knowledge, and customer service to turn content into revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule posts, photos, videos, reels, stories, and graphics for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, WhatsApp and other channels.
• Develop literary‑focused content such as book recommendations, author highlights, and trend pieces while maintaining brand consistency.
• Engage with the online community by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries, and monitor basic performance metrics.
• Assist customers in‑store and online, recommend books, follow up leads from social media, and support promotions, events, and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Support the planning and promotion of book presentations, author signings, reading clubs, and other events, creating pre‑, during‑, and post‑event content.

Required profile

• Creative, dynamic, and highly customer‑oriented individual who enjoys storytelling on social media.
• Comfortable in front of a camera and proactive in generating content.
• Clear commercial focus: able to convert content engagement into store visits and sales.
• 1‑2 years of experience in digital content creation, social media management, sales or customer service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Instagram, Facebook and TikTok.
• Video creation and editing for social platforms.
• Basic photography and image editing.
• Canva (or similar design tools).
• Familiarity with CapCut (optional).
• Understanding of basic social‑media metrics.
