Cyber Operations Planner

About the role

Peraton is seeking a Cyber Operations Planner to support United States Forces Korea. The role integrates offensive cyberspace operations into joint planning products and ensures coordinated cyber effects across all domains.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate cyber operations into OPLANs, CONPLANs, Sub‑Unified Campaign Plans, and Joint Operations Plans.
• Design tactical and operational courses of action for both deliberate and crisis action planning.
• Manage target development, nomination, approval, execution, and combat assessment for cyberspace missions.
• Lead the creation of the Cyberspace Prioritization Effect List, Joint Cyberspace Operations directives, and cyber appendices for major planning documents.
• Coordinate de‑confliction of cyber activities with air, land, maritime, space, and kinetic/non‑kinetic fires.
• Synchronize timing, tempo, and execution of cyber effects with subordinate component commands.
• Collaborate with USPACOM, USCYBERCOM, and Joint Force Headquarters‑Cyber on operational‑level synchronization.
• Design, plan, and conduct cyber‑fires exercises during command post exercises.
• Utilize AI‑driven Common Operational Picture tools to visualize effects and integrate cyber layers into a theater matrix.

Required profile

• Experience planning and executing offensive cyberspace operations in a joint or multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of joint planning processes and the ability to translate cyber capabilities into operational terms.
• Proven ability to coordinate with multiple service components and external cyber entities.
• Excellent analytical skills for target development and combat assessment.
