About the role

LA FARMA is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to provide direct, friendly service to customers in its Guatemala City store. You will advise shoppers on pharmaceutical and para‑pharmacy products, manage prescriptions, and ensure safe dispensing in line with current regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist customers, offering product recommendations based on their needs.
• Process and verify prescriptions, dispensing medication according to legal standards.
• Maintain tidy shelves, organise merchandise, and support receiving and stocking activities.
• Perform basic stock checks and handle inventory records.
• Ensure a clean, orderly work environment and a pleasant shopping experience.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of medicines, pharmacy regulations, and prescription handling.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with clear, respectful communication.
• Relevant education such as pharmacy assistant, health‑care studies, or related field; prior pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Team‑player attitude, responsibility, organization, and availability for full‑time onsite work.
• Ability to manage inventory and invoice costing.
