About the role

The position is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Guatemala, responsible for preparing technical drawings and maps of water pipelines and related infrastructure. The drafter will use specialized CAD and mapping software to create accurate visual representations that support construction, maintenance and system improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and update technical drawings and maps of water pipelines, including elevations, connections and access points.
• Create new layout designs for network expansions and infrastructure projects.
• Incorporate field survey data and interpret engineering information to ensure drawing accuracy.
• Maintain organized drawing files, documentation and version control.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations and project management teams to deliver clear visual deliverables for planning and execution.

Required profile

• Proficiency with technical drawing tools such as CAD software and mapping applications.
• Knowledge of civil or sanitary engineering concepts related to water distribution systems.
• Strong documentation and plan‑interpretation skills with attention to detail.
• Relevant diploma or degree in drafting, engineering or a related field; experience in water utilities or construction planning is a plus.
• Ability to work on‑site in Guatemala, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards.
