Director of Project Management (Remote)

About the role

nClouds is looking for an experienced Director of Project Management to lead and scale its Project Management Office. This fully remote role, based in Guatemala, will work closely with U.S. leadership, delivery teams, and customers to drive high‑quality cloud transformation engagements.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the strategic vision, methodologies, governance and best‑practice standards for the PMO.
• Build scalable processes that support multiple practices such as Cloud Engineering, DevOps, Data & AI, Migration, Managed Services and Application Modernization.
• Oversee a portfolio of complex AWS consulting engagements from initiation through delivery, ensuring projects meet schedule, scope, budget and business outcomes.
• Partner with Delivery, Sales, Solutions Architecture and Customer Success leaders to prioritize projects based on strategic objectives and resource capacity.
• Maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, utilization and financial metrics, and run regular health reviews, stage‑gate approvals and steering committees.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence, accountability, transparency and customer obsession.

Required profile

• Strategic leader with extensive experience managing professional services or cloud consulting organizations.
• Proven track record delivering large‑scale enterprise projects within an AWS ecosystem.
• Strong ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive transformation across a fast‑growing technology company.
