About the role

Tablasa is looking for a motivated Furniture Designer to join its design team. The role involves translating client needs into detailed technical drawings, ensuring feasibility, and supporting the sales and production teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Take project measurements on site or from sales information.
• Quantify the material required for each project.
• Design furniture projects using the required software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or other tools).
• Prepare technical drawings for delivery to the final client.
• Accompany the sales team on technical site visits and installations.
• Coordinate with production to ensure drawings are viable and correctly interpreted.
• Propose improvements to drawing processes, standardize plans, and optimise workflow while guaranteeing functional assembly and installation.

Required profile

• University graduate in Industrial Design, Interior Design, Architecture or Engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp is mandatory.
• Experience in furniture design is desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork orientation and ability to work under pressure.
