Dispatch Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Dispatch Coordinator to manage the scheduling and dispatch of commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, and plumbing service technicians. The role operates in a fast‑paced, 24/7 environment, handling both emergency calls and preventive maintenance appointments while working fully remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Dispatch and schedule field technicians using the BuildOps platform.
• Coordinate emergency service calls and preventive maintenance appointments.
• Monitor technician routes, job status, and completion times.
• Update work orders, service notes, and customer records within BuildOps.
• Communicate with customers about technician ETA, scheduling, and service updates.
• Prioritize urgent service requests while optimizing overall technician schedules.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs and ensure timely follow‑up on open work orders.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience using BuildOps.
• Experience dispatching commercial HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, or plumbing technicians.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced 24/7 service environment.
• Strong scheduling, multitasking, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Calm decision‑making during emergency dispatch situations.
