About the role

The Junior Insurance Executive will provide operational and administrative support for the full lifecycle of property insurance policies. Working closely with the Insurance Coordinator, the role ensures timely issuance, renewal, modification, and portfolio control while delivering excellent client service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the end‑to‑end management of insurance policies, including document processing, system updates, and deadline compliance.
• Conduct specific risk analyses for corporate clients and compare policy options to recommend suitable coverage.
• Review policy terms, conditions, and coverage details; liaise with insurers and clients on any required actions.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients, supporting account retention and renewal.
• Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide continuous assistance.
• Collaborate with internal departments such as claims, collections, and billing to ensure smooth policy execution.
• Identify and proactively address collection challenges, coordinating with relevant teams to find effective solutions.
• Ensure accurate payment information is recorded in the system and request premium receipts from insurers.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in insurance issuance, underwriting, or commercial assistance.
• University degree in Business Administration, Insurance Management, or a related field.
• Technical insurance certification is desirable.
• Willingness to learn, ability to work under pressure and independently.
• Availability to work in Zona 15, Ciudad de Guatemala, Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑5:00 PM.
