About the role

The Food Applications Specialist supports the commercial team by designing technical solutions for food‑related opportunities and provides laboratory expertise for internal and external projects. The role bridges client advisory, product development and laboratory management to ensure high‑quality service and compliance with safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the sales force and co‑lead client calls with commercial and IMM teams.
• Develop technical solutions for commercial opportunities and advise customers on product use.
• Execute food‑science projects in the laboratory, both internal and client‑driven.
• Lead laboratory operations, including SOP safety, material management and equipment upkeep.
• Maintain and improve technical knowledge in assigned food‑science areas.
• Distribute workload between client support, project work, supplier collaboration and continuous technical development.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, especially environmental and risk‑related standards.
• Participate in corporate social responsibility and volunteer initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Engineering or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably with chemical products.
• Demonstrated responsibility, commitment, quick learning ability, teamwork and assertive communication.
• Leadership and initiative orientation.
