About the role

Sinergia Arquitectura is seeking a dedicated Specialist in Permits and Licenses to manage and coordinate all regulatory authorizations required for its high‑impact architectural projects in Guatemala. The role supports the firm’s mission to create transformative spaces that improve community quality of life.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, coordinate and track permits, licenses and authorizations for each project.
• Analyze project requirements and help define the strategy for procedural management.
• Prepare, integrate and review technical, legal and administrative dossiers for licensing.
• Audit project documentation before submission, identifying inconsistencies, gaps, risks and potential observations.
• Organise evaluation meetings, technical panels and follow‑up sessions with internal teams, regulatory bodies and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate studies, reports, plans and other technical documents required for each process.
• Maintain continuous communication with municipalities, government entities and related institutions.
• Track dossier status, deadlines, responsible parties, response times and observations.
• Monitor observations issued by authorities and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and keep all documentation up‑to‑date.
• Produce progress reports highlighting pending items, risks and required actions.

Required profile

• Final‑year student or graduate in Architecture, Engineering or a related field.
• Experience in managing permits, licenses, authorizations and related procedures.
• Preferably experienced with real‑estate, construction or development project filings.
• Familiarity with interactions with municipal offices, government agencies and regulatory bodies.
