About the role

The R&D Specialist will be responsible for taking food products from laboratory formulation through regulatory registration to full‑scale production. The role offers high technical autonomy and daily interaction with production, quality, suppliers, and the brand team.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, reformulate, and conduct stability testing of food products.
• Prepare technical datasheets and compile dossiers for sanitary registration.
• Produce sample batches, validate flavor, and coordinate sensory panels.
• Scale laboratory formulas to plant production in collaboration with the manufacturing area.
• Research raw materials, providing scientific and regulatory support for ingredient selection.
• Communicate with raw‑material and packaging suppliers.
• Review product labeling information for compliance.
• Manage regulatory submissions to the Ministry of Public Health and Social Assistance (MSPAS), including new registrations, controls, renewals, and updates.

Required profile

• Final‑year student, recent graduate, or graduate in Food Science Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Biochemical Chemistry, Nutrition, or a related field.
• Familiarity with RTCA food and supplement regulations and the MSPAS sanitary registration process (previous experience is a plus).
• Intermediate English for reading technical literature and communicating with suppliers.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel and ability to maintain organized documentation.
