Field Technician

About the role

The Field Technician supports Sucafina’s sustainability and certification programmes by working directly with coffee producers in the field. You will provide technical assistance, collect agronomic data and help estimate harvest volumes while fostering strong relationships with farming communities.

Key responsibilities

• Implement sustainability and regenerative agriculture practices aligned with IMPACT, RFA, CAFE Practices and other certification standards.
• Visit coffee farms to monitor agronomic conditions, offer technical support and conduct field sampling.
• Collect, validate and submit field data using digital tools for harvest estimation.
• Assist in organising and delivering training sessions for producers when required.
• Collaborate with sustainability, research and trading teams to achieve project objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in sustainability programmes, coffee certifications or technical field assistance.
• Familiarity with certification standards such as RFA, CAFE Practices or 4C is a plus.
• Experience working with producer groups and certified supply chains.
• Solid knowledge of coffee production and quality.
