Finance Manager – Guatemala

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead financial planning, treasury, budgeting and accounting oversight for Sucafina’s operations in Guatemala. Acting as a strategic partner to local and regional leadership, the role ensures financial health, regulatory compliance and risk monitoring across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the financial planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Manage cash‑flow, treasury operations and banking relationships.
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with local regulations.
• Monitor business performance and provide strategic financial insights to commercial and operational teams.
• Oversee financial risks, internal controls and audit processes.
• Drive continuous improvement of finance operations and develop the local finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Business Administration (post‑graduate degree highly desirable).
• More than 10 years of experience in finance, treasury, banking management or financial control.
• Proven experience managing corporate banking relationships and treasury operations.
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, reporting and risk management.
• Experience in multinational or commodity‑trading environments is a plus.
