Forklift Operator

About the role

The Forklift Operator is responsible for receiving, storing, and moving raw materials, packaging, and finished goods within the warehouse and production areas. The role ensures that deliveries match purchase orders, are recorded accurately, and that the workplace complies with safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and shipping documents, report any defects, and record receipt data in the system.
• Store raw materials, packaging, finished goods, and pallets using a forklift, placing them in designated locations while adhering to safety requirements.
• Conduct periodic inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
• Transport materials to and from production departments according to production planning, preventing bottlenecks.
• Perform manual operational tasks and operate basic machinery/tools as needed.
• Carry out basic checks on materials (weight, size, visual inspection) and signal any deviations to the supervisor.
• Maintain rolling stock and keep the work environment clean and tidy.
• Follow all internal and external HSE, quality, and safety regulations and report non‑compliance.

Required profile

• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Willingness to perform manual handling tasks and basic equipment checks.
