Freight Forwarder

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Forwarder to coordinate ocean and air import and export shipments from booking through final delivery. The role works closely with customers, carriers, customs brokers, ground transportation providers and internal teams to ensure efficient and compliant movement of goods.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate ocean and air import and export shipments from booking through final delivery.
• Arrange cargo bookings, vessel and flight schedules, pickups, ground transportation, customs clearance and final delivery.
• Communicate with customers, carriers, customs brokers, vendors, overseas agents and internal teams throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Prepare and review bills of lading, air waybills, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin and import/export declarations.
• Ensure documentation and processes comply with regulatory, carrier and customer requirements.
• Track shipments, provide proactive status updates and flag potential delays.
• Identify and resolve issues related to documentation, customs clearance, scheduling, capacity or delivery.
• Obtain and review carrier and vendor rates to support accurate quoting and cost‑effective routing.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, tracking information and financial data in company systems.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of experience in international logistics or freight forwarding.
• Proven experience coordinating ocean and air import and export shipments from booking through delivery.
• Experience working with ocean carriers, airlines, customs brokers, ground transportation providers and overseas agents.
• Customer service experience within transportation, logistics or freight forwarding.
• High English proficiency (minimum B2 level).
