Freight Forwarder – Logistics Support Operator

About the role
The Logistics Support Operator ensures smooth logistics operations from shipment export and booking through to job locking and client invoicing. The role involves accurate data entry, issue resolution, and coordination with vendors and clients.
Key responsibilities
- Enter shipment information into the client’s system and validate details for accuracy.
- Resolve operational issues, correcting errors or escalating as needed.
- Create Bills of Lading for pickups to support dispatch.
- Update and monitor load statuses daily or as requested.
- Consult rate sheets to verify service details and manage billing.
- Prepare billing packets and lock jobs to secure shipment and billing records.
- Process and distribute client and vendor invoices according to SOPs.
Required profile
- 1‑3 years of experience in air or ocean freight logistics.
- Proven background in import and export operations.
- High level of English proficiency (B2 or above).
Required skills
- Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) handling.
- Bill of Lading (BOL) creation.
- Use of freight forwarding and logistics software.
