About the role

The company is seeking a senior construction project manager to lead the delivery of a large commercial development (shopping centre) for a well‑known corporate client in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. The role requires full ownership of the project lifecycle and close coordination with on‑site supervisors and client decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and control all phases of the construction project from design to hand‑over.
• Lead a direct team of site supervisors, ensuring quality, safety and compliance.
• Maintain strategic communication with client sponsors and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, resources and timelines using project management tools.
• Resolve technical and contractual issues promptly.

Required profile

• University degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture, with active professional registration.
• Minimum five years of experience directing construction projects and supervising works.
• Strong leadership, client‑service orientation and proactive negotiation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Project.
• Experience with Revit and AutoCAD.
• Familiarity with Procore, BIM360 and the MS Office suite.
