About the role

At TELUS Digital we partner with a leading health‑benefit provider to simplify access to care for small businesses and their employees. As a Health Provider you will be the voice of this innovative network, assisting customers with health‑plan inquiries over the phone.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on health plan inquiries and benefits via phone.
• Assist clients with benefits enrollment, claims processing, and provider selection.
• Explain complex healthcare terminology and procedures in clear, understandable terms.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve escalated healthcare cases effectively.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of healthcare policies and insurance regulations.
• Document and analyze call trends to improve customer satisfaction and plan utilization.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations such as HIPAA.
• Offer empathetic support while maintaining professional boundaries.
• Contribute to the development of healthcare support resources and FAQs.
• Manage high‑priority inquiries during peak call volumes efficiently.

Required profile

• 1+ years of experience in healthcare customer service or a related field (preferred).
• Schedule flexibility, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work on‑site.
• Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent certification.
• English proficiency at B2 level (spoken & written, CEFR).
