Infrastructure/Network Engineer

About the role

As an Infrastructure Engineer at APM Terminals, you will be the primary technical owner of the terminal’s IT infrastructure, ensuring availability, security, and performance of critical systems that support 24/7 operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day operation, health, and lifecycle of IT infrastructure, including Cisco networking, VMware, Windows Server, storage and backup.
• Monitor performance, proactively identify risks, and lead incident investigation across L1‑L3 support levels.
• Manage infrastructure changes, upgrades, patching and technology refresh activities.
• Collaborate with regional teams, vendors, cybersecurity and business stakeholders to deliver reliable services.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in infrastructure, network or systems engineering.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Cisco switching, routing, VLANs and network troubleshooting.
• Experience administering VMware virtualization platforms and Windows Server/Active Directory.
• Proficiency with enterprise storage, backup hardware and monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, PRTG).
