Ingeniero de Aplicaciones Junior – Automatización Industrial

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Applications Engineer to join our industrial automation team. The role involves providing technical support and assisting in the implementation of automation solutions for a variety of projects and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in programming, configuring, and commissioning PLCs, HMIs, and variable frequency drives.
• Participate in the development and deployment of industrial automation solutions.
• Support technical evaluation and selection of equipment and technologies for projects.
• Diagnose and provide remote or on‑site technical support for automated systems.
• Help configure and calibrate industrial instrumentation.
• Conduct site surveys and technical visits at client facilities.
• Support testing, commissioning, and start‑up activities.
• Maintain ongoing technical assistance and follow‑up with clients.

Required profile

• Graduated at a diversified level in a related field.
• University studies in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of industrial automation.
• Analytical mindset and strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication for technical interaction with clients.
• Willingness to travel and work on‑site.
• Proactive, organized, and able to work well in a team.

Required skills

• PLC programming and configuration.
• HMI development and integration.
• Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) setup and tuning.
• Fundamental understanding of industrial automation concepts.
