About the role
The Plant Engineer will lead initiatives to maximize operational efficiency and workforce utilization at our belt manufacturing facility in San Miguel Petapa, Guatemala. You will work closely with production teams to drive cost‑effective labor management and continuous improvement across the plant.
Key responsibilities
- Implement continuous improvement and industrial automation projects.
- Balance production lines to optimize throughput.
- Design, plan, and manage plant layout and workspace.
- Administer performance‑based management systems.
- Design, assemble, and commission new production lines.
- Lead efficiency‑focused projects that enhance productivity.
Required profile
- Strong leadership and analytical thinking.
- Effective communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Result‑oriented mindset with a passion for process transformation.
- Ability to turn data analysis into actionable operational decisions.
