Key Account Manager – Oncology

About the role

The multinational pharmaceutical company seeks an experienced Key Account Manager to lead oncology account development across Guatemala. You will build and nurture relationships with hospitals, purchasing departments, and other key stakeholders to drive patient access and commercial performance of the oncology portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic account plans for oncology customers and institutions.
• Establish strong relationships with hospital procurement, pharmacy, and institutional stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve patient access and product availability.
• Manage Patient Support Program (PSP) activities and ensure stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborate with Medical, Market Access, Commercial and cross‑functional teams.
• Monitor market dynamics, competitor activity and healthcare environment changes.
• Maintain accurate account plans, customer data and activity tracking.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine or related field.
• 3–5+ years of pharmaceutical experience, preferably oncology.
• Proven experience managing key accounts in hospitals, healthcare institutions or government‑related accounts.
• Established relationships with hospital purchasing and procurement areas.
• Experience with patient support programs and market access is a strong advantage.
• Fluent Spanish and good English communication skills.
