About the role

We are looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our production plant in Santa Cruz Verapaz. The role involves conducting physical and mechanical tests on construction products, ensuring quality and compliance with specifications. The technician will work closely with the production team to identify any deviations and support continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Perform physical and mechanical testing of construction materials and finished products.
• Operate and maintain testing equipment and handle confidential test data.
• Carry out periodic inspections of production processes.
• Record test results accurately in Excel and generate reports.
• Ensure testing procedures follow safety and quality standards.

Required profile

• High school diploma in Construction or a related field.
• Age between 18 and 30 years.
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and a sense of urgency.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle confidential information responsibly.

Required skills

• Metrology knowledge.
• Understanding of construction materials.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
