About the role

The Quality Leader will plan, direct, control and continuously improve the Quality and Food Safety Management System of an animal feed production plant. The role ensures that raw materials, production processes and finished products meet internal standards, regulatory requirements, safety norms, nutritional specifications and customer expectations, while supporting operational efficiency and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the overall Quality Management System (QMS) and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
• Control the quality of raw materials entering the plant.
• Guarantee quality assurance throughout production operations.
• Oversee laboratory activities, including physicochemical and microbiological analyses.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Promote a culture of quality through training and employee engagement.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Engineering, Agro‑industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Veterinary Medicine, Zootechnics or a related field.
• Specialization in Quality Management or Food Safety is desirable.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in quality roles within animal feed, animal food or food manufacturing industries.
• Proven experience leading laboratories, conducting audits and managing food safety systems.

• BPM (Business Process Management)
• HACCP and food safety principles
• ISO 9001, FSSC 22000 or equivalent standards
• Statistical Process Control (SPC)
• Laboratory management and testing (physicochemical and microbiological)
• Animal nutrition and balanced feed formulation
• Knowledge of legislation applicable to animal food
