About the role

The company is seeking a senior Compliance Officer to lead compliance and regulatory affairs within its growing pharmaceutical business in Guatemala. The role reports directly to the Board of Directors and is critical for maintaining zero regulatory sanctions.

Key responsibilities

• Guarantee zero sanctions, contingencies, or active alerts with the Department of Regulation and Control of Pharmaceutical Products (DRCPFA/MSPAS).
• Execute the Annual Internal Compliance Audit Plan and ensure timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
• Implement and operate anti‑corruption, anti‑bribery, and conflict‑of‑interest mitigation programs for interactions with healthcare professionals and institutions.
• Administer the corporate Ethics Channel, ensuring confidentiality, independence, and due process for all complaints.
• Travel as required to support regional compliance activities.

Required profile

• University degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Auditing, Finance, Administration, Biotechnology, Engineering or Law.
• 5–8 years of experience in compliance, auditing, risk management or regulatory affairs within the pharmaceutical sector.
• Fluent technical and corporate English.
• Willingness to travel.
