About the role
The Mechanical Supervisor will lead the mechanical works during the construction of a photovoltaic solar park, ensuring that all activities follow the project drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, safety procedures and the construction schedule.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise the mechanical assembly of photovoltaic structures and trackers.
- Coordinate and oversee the installation of supports, posts, foundations and other mechanical components.
- Verify correct alignment, levels, torques and adjustments of structures according to project specifications.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, layouts, isometrics and assembly plans.
- Manage work crews, assign tasks and monitor daily progress.
- Ensure proper use of tools and equipment for mechanical assembly.
- Conduct quality inspections, detect deviations and report non‑conformities.
- Prepare daily progress reports and communicate updates to the site manager.
- Collaborate with civil, electrical, surveying, quality and HSE teams to avoid interferences.
- Oversee lifting, moving and positioning of mechanical components.
- Monitor compliance with safety procedures and report incidents.
- Participate in coordination meetings and follow up on punch‑list items.
- Supervise mechanical tests and verifications prior to system commissioning.
Required profile
- Degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical, Mechatronics, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience supervising construction works, preferably in photovoltaic or industrial projects.
- Experience in assembling metal structures and solar trackers.
- Familiarity with construction processes, mechanical installation and quality‑safety standards.
- Willingness to work on‑site and travel to the project location.
- Availability for extended hours when project demands.
