About the role

The health organization located in Zone 9 of Guatemala City is looking for a dedicated Médico Turnista to cover 12‑hour shifts on a 12x36 schedule. The role involves providing general medical care to patients during assigned shifts and ensuring continuity of services within a busy clinical environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment to patients during assigned 12‑hour shifts.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records in accordance with institutional protocols.
• Collaborate with nursing and support staff to coordinate patient care and follow‑up.
• Participate in on‑call rotations and respond promptly to emergencies as required.
• Adhere to all local health regulations and organizational policies.

Required profile

• Valid degree as a General Practitioner (Médico General).
• Active registration with the Guatemalan Medical Board.
• Willingness and ability to work rotating 12x36 hour shifts.
• Strong communication skills and professional attitude.
