About the role
The Mental Health Practitioner will deliver proactive psychological‑wellbeing support to employees working in content moderation and Trust & Safety functions. The role focuses on strengthening psychological safety, normalising access to support, and building sustainable coping and resilience skills.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct scheduled and on‑demand individual wellbeing coaching or short‑term counselling within professional scope.
- Provide same‑day assistance for urgent wellbeing concerns when operationally required.
- Facilitate small‑group sessions on healthy coping, resilience and stress management.
- Deliver wellbeing and resilience content during onboarding and ad‑hoc psycho‑education sessions.
- Maintain a visible onsite presence through regular floor walks while respecting privacy and clinical boundaries.
- Identify and manage clinical risks, including suicide or self‑harm assessments, and follow escalation procedures.
- Provide crisis intervention and coordinate referrals to emergency, specialist or community services.
- Support employees and teams after critical or potentially traumatic incidents with appropriate debriefing.
- Maintain accurate, secure appointment, attendance and case‑note records.
- Protect confidentiality and report only aggregated wellbeing trends.
- Partner with Operations, HR, Wellness, Training and people leaders while preserving clinical independence.
- Participate in supervision, case consultation, internal meetings and continuing professional development.
Required profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Clinical Psychology, Counselling Psychology, Health Psychology, Psychotherapy, Guidance Counselling, Mental Health Counselling, Social Work or another recognised clinical discipline.
- Valid and active professional registration, accreditation or unrestricted licence to practise in Guatemala or Colombia.
- Minimum three years of post‑degree mental‑health experience.
- Experience delivering short‑term, evidence‑based individual mental‑health interventions.
- Experience supporting trauma‑related concerns, distress, resilience or similar issues.
