Middle Full Stack Engineer - Franchise Menu

About the role

AgileEngine is looking for a mid‑level Full Stack Engineer to modernize a core Menu Platform used by thousands of restaurants worldwide. You will work with a modern TypeScript stack, building backend services, web applications and shared business logic across multiple channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop backend services using Node.js and NestJS.
• Build and maintain web applications with React and contribute to React Native when needed.
• Create shared business logic consumed by web, mobile and backend systems.
• Modernize legacy services and participate in platform migration initiatives (pricing, promotions, ordering, menu management).
• Design scalable APIs and data models, write clean TypeScript code.
• Take part in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing and Agile ceremonies.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools to boost productivity and code quality.

Required profile

• 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and working with SQL databases.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Solid software design and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Upper‑intermediate English communication skills.
