Night Shift Monitoring Supervisor

About the role

The Night Shift Monitoring Supervisor leads the overnight Command Center monitoring team, ensuring safe, consistent, and responsive logistics operations throughout the shift. The role combines real‑time shipment monitoring, incident triage, and team development to protect service continuity and customer confidence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the overnight Command Center monitoring team, set priorities, assign work and adjust coverage based on shipment activity and risk levels.
• Oversee real‑time shipment monitoring, triage alerts, coordinate incident response and ensure timely escalation to customers, security contacts and on‑call leadership.
• Maintain accurate documentation of attendance, performance and operational concerns, and provide a structured handoff to the incoming shift.
• Review monitoring actions, case notes and closure decisions for compliance and quality, and monitor system availability.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating operations, monitoring, security, logistics or customer‑service teams.
• Ability to work a consistent night‑shift schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong judgment, composure under pressure and exceptional attention to detail.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for incident documentation and shift handoffs.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Ability to quickly learn monitoring and customer platforms.
