About the role

The Monitoring Operator is responsible for continuously supervising security and monitoring systems, promptly detecting any abnormal situations and responding according to established protocols. This role contributes directly to the protection of people, facilities, and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor cameras, alarms and security systems in real time.
• Detect and analyse alert signals to identify potential risk situations.
• Classify alerts by type (intrusion, fire, emergency, etc.) and activate the corresponding response protocols.
• Track each incident until confirmation that the situation has been resolved.
• Maintain communication with support teams during emergencies.
• Record and report incidents detected during the shift.
• Verify the status of monitoring equipment and report any anomalies or failures.
• Provide guidance to clients regarding their security systems.
• Ensure clear and timely communication with the team to guarantee proper handling of each event.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused throughout the shift.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external clients.
• Ability to follow security protocols and procedures accurately.
• Capacity to work under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
