About the role

Cargill is seeking an Operator I to join its Agriculture & Trade business unit in Ciudad de Guatemala. The role is permanent, full‑time, and based on‑site in a food production facility. You will operate machinery, perform basic maintenance, and help ensure safe, high‑quality product output.

Key responsibilities

• Load product onto designated equipment for processing and maintenance.
• Carry out daily production activities for various food products.
• Transport baskets, load and unload product, and perform cutting and peeling tasks.
• Maintain product, equipment, and facilities in optimal condition.
• Support coworkers in adhering to safety rules, critical tasks, and HACCP procedures.
• Execute any additional production tasks assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Completed primary education or higher.
• Ability to read and write Spanish fluently.
• Physical capability to bend, climb stairs, kneel, squat, twist, and lift up to 25 kg safely.
• Willingness to work in noisy, variable environments.
