Perito Contador – Auxiliar Contable

About the role

We are looking for a Perito Contador to join our finance team as an Accounting Assistant. This entry‑level position offers the chance to develop professional accounting skills while supporting daily financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Record accounting entries in the company’s system.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and related bookkeeping tasks.
• Support the monthly closing process.
• Maintain both physical and digital filing of accounting documents.
• Prepare basic accounting reports.
• Provide assistance to the Accountant and Financial Manager as needed.
• Perform additional administrative and accounting duties assigned by supervisors.

Required profile

• Qualified Perito Contador (mandatory).
• 6 months to 1 year of experience in similar roles or professional internships.
• Knowledge of the Guatemalan tax regime (IVA, tax withholdings, etc.) is desirable.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and confidentiality.
• Proactive attitude, teamwork capability, and good communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
