Public Relations Executive

About the role

We are looking for a Public Relations Executive to join our creative agency Wild on a full‑time remote basis, supporting our clients in Guatemala. The role will shape and protect brand reputation, craft compelling narratives, and secure earned media coverage across both traditional and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute annual PR plans and campaigns aligned with clients’ commercial objectives, identifying market trends and turning corporate milestones into high‑impact media opportunities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, lead status meetings, present clear performance reports, and translate client needs into effective communication strategies.
• Lead projects from inception to delivery with autonomy, propose innovative ideas, and manage crisis situations while coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Build and maintain an elite network of journalists, editors, reporters, opinion leaders and influencers throughout Guatemala.
• Write press releases, newsletters, speeches and other editorial content that drives organic media placements.
• Monitor media coverage and digital platforms, measure media value, reach and sentiment, and produce regular clipping reports.
• Organise press conferences, exclusive interviews and press tours, ensuring smooth execution and maximum exposure.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public relations or communications, preferably within an agency environment.
• Strong storytelling ability and a keen sense for news angles that resonate with media and the public.
• Excellent client‑management skills, with a track record of delivering results and maintaining long‑term relationships.
• Proactive, solution‑oriented mindset and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Fluent in Spanish; professional proficiency in English is a plus.
