Regente/Director de Asuntos Regulatorios – Laboratorio Farmacéutico

About the role

The company is seeking a Regente/Director of Regulatory Affairs to lead all regulatory activities for its pharmaceutical laboratory located in Villa Nueva. The role involves overseeing the registration, renewal, modification and variation of sanitary permits, ensuring compliance with Guatemalan and Central American pharmaceutical legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the preparation, submission and follow‑up of sanitary registrations for pharmaceutical products.
• Coordinate renewals, modifications and variations of existing permits.
• Monitor changes in Guatemalan and Central American pharmaceutical regulations and implement necessary updates.
• Ensure the quality of production processes and related documentation meets regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Preferably male (as indicated in the original posting).
• Closed curriculum or university degree in Chemistry, Biology or Pharmacy.
• Proven experience in managing sanitary registrations, renewals and variations.
• In‑depth knowledge of Guatemalan pharmaceutical legislation and Central American technical regulations.
