Regional Communications Lead

About the role

ECHO is seeking a Regional Communications Lead to shape and amplify the story of its Central America and Caribbean Regional Impact Center (CAC RIC). The role will craft evidence‑based narratives that highlight program impact, engage donors, partners, staff and network members, and reinforce ECHO’s mission and faith‑based values.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve a Regional Communications Plan that raises CAC RIC’s visibility across Central America and the Caribbean.
• Translate program data, learning and field experiences into high‑impact stories for reports, donor updates, presentations and training resources.
• Create internal and external communication materials that are clear, technically accurate, audience‑specific and aligned with ECHO’s faith perspective.
• Lead the growth of CAC RIC’s presence on ECHOcommunity and other digital knowledge‑sharing platforms.
• Coordinate with Global Communications to ensure regional messaging aligns with global brand standards and storytelling priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in strategic communications, storytelling and content creation for nonprofit or development audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional leadership and cross‑functional teams.
• Strong understanding of donor, partner and network communication needs.
