About the role

The position is for a qualified architect to act as the resident on historic building projects in Antigua Guatemala. You will supervise daily construction activities, coordinate contractors, and ensure that all works are executed according to quality standards and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and control the daily execution of construction works on historic sites.
• Coordinate subcontractors and ensure proper installation of finishes and building services.
• Monitor compliance with project timelines and quality requirements.
• Review, prepare, and sign technical documentation related to permits and project approvals.
• Report progress and any issues to senior management.

Required profile

• Graduated architect with an active professional license (mandatory).
• Minimum two years of experience in construction supervision and site administration.
• Strong knowledge of finishes, installations, and construction processes.
• Ability to analyze technical problems, think critically, and pay close attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Antigua Guatemala, preferably residing nearby.
