Sales Manager – Vegetables

About the role

Syngenta is seeking a Sales Manager to lead its vegetable seed business in the ACM Sales Area of Guatemala. You will be responsible for driving short‑, mid‑, and long‑term sales performance while building a sustainable, high‑performing team.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a key driver of crop strategies to achieve long‑term business objectives.
• Produce accurate sales forecasts and plans for the assigned area.
• Design and evolve go‑to‑market strategies in alignment with the Commercial Unit.
• Leverage market and customer insights to shape the vegetable seed offering and execution.
• Monitor performance, adjust tactics and ensure profitability targets are met.
• Coach and manage the sales team, setting goals and overseeing actions.
• Implement sales execution actions for campaigns and product launches.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, business, marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in horticulture, agronomy or agribusiness.
• Strong business and financial acumen.
• Proven experience leading multi‑functional teams.
• Solid marketing background with a focus on customer value creation.
• Deep understanding of market dynamics and competitive environment in vegetable seeds.
