Sales Representative – Nutrition (Guatemala City)

About the role

Abbott’s Nutrition Division is seeking a Sales Representative to drive growth of its science‑based nutrition portfolio in Guatemala City. The role focuses on building awareness among health‑care professionals (HCPs) about the importance of nutrition and the advantages of Abbott’s brands such as Similac®, PediaSure®, Pedialyte®, Ensure® and Glucerna®.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of medical and nutritional science, the health‑care landscape and emerging digital trends to support selling and education.
• Identify target HCPs, develop customer plans and achieve coverage, call‑rate and frequency objectives.
• Implement customer segmentation, generate new leads, and report daily activities in the Sales Force Effectiveness (SFE) system.
• Analyze market and category opportunities to grow market share at the account level.
• Design and execute multichannel engagement plans that generate demand, increase recommendations and expand Abbott’s market presence.
• Build and sustain strong relationships with HCPs across different levels of influence.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of medical and nutritional science and the health‑care environment.
• Proven ability to develop and follow customer engagement strategies.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with HCPs and internal teams.
• Results‑oriented mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs and sales targets.
