Salesperson – Business Development & Account Management

About the role

We are looking for a full-time Salesperson to join our team at Grupo Freta S.A. in Guatemala City. The role focuses on generating new business, managing existing client relationships and consistently achieving sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new business opportunities through prospecting calls and visits.
• Prepare, present and negotiate proposals, closing deals in line with company guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and coordinate with operations and finance for delivery and invoicing.
• Provide after-sales support to foster long-term client relationships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and product updates to communicate value effectively.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales, account management or business development, preferably in a related industry.
• Strong communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to understand customer needs, present solutions and handle objections professionally.
• Organizational and time-management skills with a results-oriented mindset.
• Secondary education completed; post-secondary studies in Business, Marketing or related fields are a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish; basic English is a plus.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM tools or sales tracking systems.
• Basic proficiency with office productivity software (spreadsheets, presentations, email).
