Senior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to lead accounting operations for US‑based entities. The role is ideal for professionals who have managed the full accounting cycle, driven month‑end close, owned financial reporting, and mentored accounting teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end accounting for one or multiple US entities/clients.
• Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Oversee general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash management.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits.
• Support process improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP implementations.
• Mentor and review work of accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6–8+ years of accounting and finance experience with significant US exposure.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• Proven experience managing full month‑end and year‑end close.
• Team leadership or people‑management experience.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Preferred professional qualifications: CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
