Senior Manager, Infrastructure Systems

About the role

The Senior Manager, Infrastructure Systems is responsible for the reliability, availability, security, scalability and operational efficiency of infrastructure services that support Conduent’s commercial, government and transportation clients. This leader guides a global team that operates distributed systems, infrastructure platforms and compute hardware across on‑premises, cloud and shared‑service environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead operational support for distributed systems, infrastructure services and compute hardware worldwide.
• Ensure predictable, high‑quality systems operations across hybrid environments (on‑premises, Azure cloud and shared‑service platforms).
• Maintain accountability for infrastructure reliability, availability, performance, recoverability and operational readiness.
• Drive operational excellence through service‑management practices, governance and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Manage Linux and Windows platforms, Azure resources and on‑premises compute infrastructure (UCS, blade servers, virtualization platforms).
• Partner with engineering, architecture, cloud and security teams to guarantee operational supportability of new solutions.
• Lead major incident response, problem management and service‑management activities to restore services quickly.

Required profile

• Proven ability to prioritize work, balance demand versus capacity and align resources with high‑value, high‑risk initiatives.
• Strong leadership in high‑pressure situations with excellent partnership skills across business, technology and operational stakeholders.
• Extensive experience managing global infrastructure operations in hybrid cloud environments.
