Senior SEO Content Strategist – Remote Fintech & Crypto

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a Senior SEO Content Strategist to lead the organic growth of a high‑growth fintech and cryptocurrency platform. This fully remote position combines technical SEO, content strategy, hands‑on writing, and digital PR, giving you end‑to‑end ownership of traffic and conversion performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the organic growth roadmap, including keyword strategy, competitive benchmarking, and quarterly KPI targets.
• Lead technical SEO initiatives such as site architecture, crawlability, page‑speed, schema markup, internal linking, Core Web Vitals, and Local SEO for a network of kiosks.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to translate SEO requirements into actionable briefs and prevent regressions.
• Maintain the SEO tooling stack (Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMrush/Ahrefs, Screaming Frog) and produce data‑driven performance reports.
• Develop and produce SEO‑optimized content for blogs, landing pages, and guides, turning complex crypto and fintech topics into clear, user‑friendly material.
• Conduct regular content audits to refresh, consolidate, or retire underperforming pages.
• Partner with Communications on data‑led digital PR campaigns, leveraging original research and industry data to earn high‑authority backlinks.
• Respond to reporter inquiries via HARO, Qwoted, and similar platforms, providing expert commentary on tight deadlines.

Required profile

• 5+ years of hands‑on SEO experience, preferably in fintech, cryptocurrency, or related high‑growth tech sectors.
• Proven track record of driving organic traffic and conversions through a blend of technical SEO, content creation, and digital PR.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
• Excellent written communication skills, capable of producing publication‑level content.
