Senior Technical Product Owner

About the role

EZCORP is seeking a Senior Technical Product Owner to translate business product strategy into technical deliverables and ensure maximum business value from development teams. The role works closely with the business Product Manager and mentors junior product owners.

Key responsibilities

• Model AI‑augmented engineering excellence by designing solutions that integrate LLMs, RAG, and agents where appropriate.
• Write AI‑ready requirements in Given‑When‑Then (Gherkin) format and evaluate AI outputs for safety and quality.
• Own and prioritize complex backlogs, break down features into development‑ready stories, and create release plans.
• Lead sprint ceremonies, provide real‑time guidance on business logic, and champion Agile and BDD practices.
• Engage stakeholders, facilitate UAT, communicate progress and risks, and influence technical execution.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years experience as a Technical Product Owner or Business Analyst in Agile teams, with 3‑5 years at senior/lead level.
• Strong background in Behavior‑Driven Development and writing detailed Gherkin stories.
• Proven leadership in Scrum environments and ability to mentor junior product owners.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder influencing skills.

• AI‑assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc.)
• Agile tools: Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence
• BDD tools: Cucumber, SpecFlow, Behave
• Experience with APIs, system architecture, CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
