Senior Telecom Construction & Deployment Lead

About the role

Ericsson is seeking a Senior Telecom Construction & Deployment Lead to provide technical leadership, coordination and execution support for network implementation projects. You will oversee the end‑to‑end construction and deployment of telecommunications infrastructure across assigned sites in Guatemala.

Key responsibilities

• Provide functional and technical leadership for construction and deployment activities across assigned sites.
• Coordinate customers, suppliers, contractors and field teams to ensure successful delivery of deployments.
• Act as escalation point for complex technical, operational and construction issues.
• Assess site readiness, determine build approach and develop executable construction plans.
• Manage work orders, non‑FPP activities and related compensation processes.
• Support budget management and ensure compliance with financial, quality, EHS and statutory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related construction field.
• Significant hands‑on experience managing telecom construction projects, especially tower and new site builds.
• Fluent English and strong stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to provide functional leadership without direct people‑management responsibility.

Required skills

• Telecommunications construction and tower/build site expertise.
• Site feasibility assessment and design consulting.
• Civil works, ground works, L&A, backhaul, fiber and power scope estimation.
• OSHA 30‑hour telecom certification.
• Experience with NSB, NSB Power and Fiber Walks.
