Social Media Manager – Instagram & TikTok (Remote)

About the role

Our client, a Canadian construction company, is seeking a Social Media Manager to grow its online presence on Instagram and TikTok. The role is fully remote, part‑time (15 hours per week), and focuses on organic engagement and social proof.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, format, and publish content on Instagram and TikTok.
• Repurpose existing assets such as podcast clips, blog posts, and testimonials into social media posts.
• Monitor comments, engage with followers, and maintain a community tone.
• Develop and execute a strategic posting plan to build trust and visibility.
• Proofread copy for punctuation, clarity, and overall quality.
• Track follower growth and engagement metrics using platform analytics.

Required profile

• Proven ability to increase engagement and grow followers on social platforms.
• Experience with organic social media management, specifically Instagram and TikTok.
• Strong English proficiency (C1/C2) with excellent copy‑editing skills.
• Self‑motivated, independent, and able to join occasional sync calls during US Eastern Time.
• Coachable, easy‑going, results‑oriented, and comfortable with informal communication.
