About the role

DHL Express Guatemala is looking for an IT Specialist to ensure the stability, availability, security and continuous evolution of its technology infrastructure. The role supports critical systems, manages incidents, and drives technology improvements to keep the business running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide second‑ and third‑level technical support for critical systems, applications and infrastructure.
• Administer and monitor servers, networks, computers, telecommunications and other technology devices.
• Manage complex incidents, problems and requests, performing root‑cause analysis and delivering permanent solutions.
• Execute installations, configurations, updates and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Ensure compliance with information security, cybersecurity and data‑protection policies.
• Participate in technology projects, migrations, automations and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate with technology vendors and regional/global teams to guarantee service continuity.
• Document technical procedures and monitor infrastructure performance to prevent incidents.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in technology infrastructure, specialized support and system administration.
• University degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Office 365, LAN/WAN networking and ITSM tools.
• Intermediate to advanced technical English.
• Strong service orientation, analytical thinking and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams across local, regional and global levels.
• Proactive, responsible and committed to security, compliance and continuous improvement.
